The Travel Rehearsal Program provides passengers with disabilities an opportunity to “rehearse” their upcoming journey through the airport.
Passengers can schedule a time to come to the airport in advance of their booked travel and take a guided tour through the steps of proceeding to their flight. They will also learn about the accessibility features available to them.
Our goal is to ensure that travel through Toronto Pearson is inclusive, comfortable and enjoyable for all passengers.
How it works
To participate, please review the following details:
- Group size is limited to a maximum of three people (one passenger with a disability and up to two caregivers, guardians, or parents).
- All participants must have a confirmed travel document and sign a release form.
- Rehearsals must be booked a minimum of two to four weeks before the confirmed travel date.
- Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays in the late morning (exact time TBD).
- Sessions last approximately 60 minutes for domestic travel and 90 minutes for international travel.
- All participants will be subject to Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) screening requirements.
- Tours follow the designated route relevant to the passenger’s journey. Aircraft boarding, retail, or dining stops are not included.
