Our Community Outreach team is always ready to get together and make new connections through events and festivals that celebrate the region’s rich, cultural diversity, local movie nights and farmers markets, or just a good old-fashioned barbeque.

Toronto Pearson Street Team
Summer is a great time for some neighbourly fun, and we’re thrilled to welcome back our Summer Student Street Team for 2024. Look for our colourful Toronto Pearson tent at a number of community events across the region. Meet the team, learn cool facts about Pearson, test your airport trivia, and win awesome swag! We have lots of fun in store this summer, so be sure to come out and join in.
Introducing our 2024 Summer Street Team, recruited through our Community Investment Partner, ACCES Employment:

- Kirin Singh is studying Business and HR Management at Sheridan College. A skilled barista, Kirin fills her spare time volunteering in her community.
- Last but not least, is Zanihya Rollocks. Zanihya completed her first year of studies at the University of Guelph, majoring in Psychology. A great team player, Zanihya is skilled at issue management working in the retail and food service industry.
We’d love to sponsor and/or participate in your community events!
Through our Community Outreach program, we provide sponsorship and support for community-building initiatives that support diversity and inclusion. We also seek out opportunities to connect with our neighbours at community events, where we can set up our interactive booth and chat about initiatives, while also giving away fun and educational materials about Pearson. Have an event on the horizon that needs our support?
Read the guidelines for applying.
Please note: Attendance requests are available throughout the year, but community events requesting funding must be held between April and September.
Invite us for a Pearson Connects Coffee Chat
Our Pearson Connects Coffee Chats provide a unique look at what it takes to keep our airport operating safely every day. Meet with our team and subject matter experts to learn about the history of the airport and its economic impact, our operations and how we are giving back to local communities. To schedule a virtual or in-person coffee chat with us about one of the listed topics, please reach us at communityengagement@gtaa.com.
