*We are closed on the second Thursday of the month and on all statutory holidays

Services Offered

The Pass Office helps with various passes. Consult the Passes and Permits for employees page for more information and for the required forms to bring to your appointment.

  • Transportation Security Clearance Submission (new or renewal) 
  • Restricted Area Identity Card (RAICs)/Security Control Passes 
  • Keycards 
  • Access Control Officer (ACO) Card 
  • Vehicle Markers 
  • Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) Card*

*AVOP card issuance walk-ins are accepted Tuesday to Thursday during Pass Office operating hours. Please bring your valid RAIC, valid driver’s license, authorized AVOP Application, and any existing AVOP card(s) to the appointment. AVOP applicants should allow at least two (2) business days after successful completion of testing prior to attending the Pass Office. 

Employer Pass Office Accounts

Set up and manage your employer account at employer pass office account. Employer accounts include functions at an organization level such as setting up Signing Authority, managing Company Information changes, obtaining Vehicle Markers, etc.

Book an Appointment

An appointment is required for service alongside your appropriate service application form. Walk-ins are no longer accepted and if the form is not brought in, you will have to rebook. You must be prepared and bring all required original, valid documents including valid IDs and your authorized application form(s) to your appointment. If you are more than five minutes late for your appointment, you will be asked to rebook. Appointments can be cancelled through the booking notification.

Lost or Stolen Passes or Security Items

If one of your security items is lost, stolen or misplaced, you must:

  • Report it immediately to your employer and the Pass Office at pass.permits@gtaa.com
  • Complete the required application form for the pass that was lost or stolen and attend the Pass Office during operating hours for a replacement.

Fees

If you lose or fail to return a security item, you will have to pay a fee. Payment can be made by debit or credit only.

Lost or stolen RAIC or Security Control

1st time: $100+ HST

2nd time: $200+ HST

3rd time: $300+ HST
GTAA and the company’s signing authority will review the employee’s right to hold a pass.

* 50% refundable if pass is returned within 30 days.
No refunds after 30 days.

AVOP, Keycard or ACO Card: $100 + HST
* Non-refundable

Return Passes or Security Items

You must return all security items issued by the Pass Office to either your employer or the Pass Office, if you no longer need them (termination, long term leave etc.) This includes all valid and expired security items such as RAICs, keycards, temporary passes, AVOPs, vehicle markers and ACO cards. Appointments are not required for pass returns and replacements.
