An engaging and informative webinar panel on employment supports was delivered for job seekers, followed by one-on-one individual mentoring interviews with an experienced employment counsellor from ACCES Employment. ACCES Employment is a leader in connecting employers with qualified employees from diverse backgrounds. As a not-for-profit corporation, ACCES Employment provides job search services free of charge. ACCES Employment is a community partner of the Toronto Pearson's Propeller Project.

MyPlan is an online career development program offered exclusively to current or past employees of Toronto Pearson Airport delivered by the GTAA’s community partner ACCES Employment. The program helps participants develop skills that are vital to the future of work while building their professional network and marketing their skills to employers. This free intensive twelve-day career development training program ran its first cohort from August 4 to August 18, 2020. It included full time online training and one-on-one tailored employment counselling to support job search with an experienced job developer.
Suitable Impressions is a program of Brands for Canada that offers knowledge and resources to job-seekers. This workshop included key topic areas such as, how to make a great first impression, emotions, mindset, focus, work appropriate attire and confidence building. Workshops participants will receive a new work attire ($500+ value) and a gift bag full of personal care items ($75 value).
During four weekly sessions on July 2020, Human Resources Professionals from the GTAA answered submitted questions related to employment search strategies and career development steps. Discussion topics included: resume writing, cover letter, interviews (including virtual), job search, business communications, networking, transferable skills and changing your career.
