Jetstream

In 2001, they received the Toronto Architecture and Urban Design Award for their work integrating multiple elements such as a granite couch, gates, pavement inlays and patterns into an urban landscape. 

In Jetstream, the artists find inspiration in the weather, not only as a “common language shared by all,” but also as an atmospheric condition critical to flight. The artwork consists of a suspended aluminum installation and six granite and bronze floor inlays that take the visual imagery associated with the weather into abstraction.
