Pearson is proud to welcome a new addition to its growing cargo network. Starting February 7, 2025, China Airlines Cargo will be operating two flights per week from Taipei, Taiwan, and arriving at Pearson on a Boeing 777-200 Freighter. This new connection strengthens Pearson’s role as a vital logistics hub and links us to Taipei, one of the top ten busiest cargo airports globally.
Handling over 45% of Canada’s air cargo, Pearson plays an important role in keeping goods moving efficiently across the country and globally. With 13 major cargo operators and 37 key routes, Pearson continues to drive economic growth and global trade. The addition of China Airlines Cargo further enhances our ability to connect businesses with critical markets, ensuring timely and seamless freight movement.
This new route is a testament to Pearson’s importance in the cargo industry and a step forward in strengthening trade relationships between Canada and Asia.
