Your summer travel guide to Toronto Pearson

Summer in Canada is something special, and this season, we’re bringing that magic to life across Toronto Pearson. Whether you’re arriving, departing or just passing through, the airport is filled with opportunities to explore local favourites, enjoy exclusive offers, and take part in fun experiences and special events. From seasonal treats to curated shopping and engaging activities, there’s something to make your journey brighter and more memorable.

Helpful tips for your summer trip

To make your journey more convenient, we recommend using these digital tools to enhance your travel experience:

  • Mobile Passport Control, an app introduced by United States Customs and Border Protection that allows travellers to digitally submit their information for a smoother departures experience if they’re travelling to the US.
  • Before you fly, review your airline’s baggage policies, as check-in and carry-on limits vary by carrier.
  • If you are a passenger with a disability, don’t forget to notify your airline of your needs at least 48 hours before your flight. Pearson offers a variety of accessible services and facilities to make your trip as smooth as possible.
  • Passengers with invisible disabilities can request a Sunflower lanyard at the info desks at T1 and T3; by wearing the lanyard, it discreetly signals to our staff that you may need additional assistance, time, or understanding during your journey.
  • Our live wait times dashboard provides real-time information ahead of arriving at the airport.
  • This gives passengers information about what to expect before arriving at the airport.
  • Advance Declaration continues to be offered by Canada Border Services Agency, which lets travellers submit their customs and immigration declaration up to 72 hours in advance of flying into Canada, giving them a faster border experience and saving them time at Pearson. Passengers who complete Advance Declaration will have access to an Express Lane in the customs area.
  • Register online to park your car, which helps to guarantee your spot ahead of time.
  • If you’re picking up friends or family, take advantage of the free cell phone waiting area, where you can park for up to 45 minutes at no cost.
  • Don’t forget to follow us on X for any major operational updates.
