It’s National AccessAbility Week!

National AccessAbility Week is an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of accessibility and inclusion for everyone.

One in six people worldwide experience disability, and more than 1 million passengers with disabilities pass through Toronto Pearson annually.

At Toronto Pearson, we are on a journey to make our airport the most accessible in the world by removing barriers for all people. The airport offers numerous accessibility features for passengers with disabilities, including those with sight loss, hearing or mobility needs.

To further advance our commitment to accessibility, we have launched a new Travel Rehearsal Program, which provides passengers with disabilities with an opportunity to “rehearse” their upcoming journey through the airport. Passengers can schedule a time to come to the airport in advance of their booked travel and take a guided tour through the steps of proceeding to their flight. They will also learn about the accessibility features available to them.

To learn more about the airport’s accessibility programs and services, visit Toronto Pearson’s Accessibility website.
