Things you didn’t know Pearson has for kids

At Pearson, we believe that your vacation starts the second you arrive at the airport. Travel should be fun: a perfect launch to any family trip, and a chance to make new memories. And we’re kids at heart, so we’ve put plenty of thought into our family-friendly amenities. A behind-the-scenes look at traffic control, a movie lounge screening cartoons, an entire zone for Lego—and plenty of stuff for your children, too!

Check out all the exciting things for kids to do at Pearson.

Make friends while you wait

Nothing like a little pre-flight playtime to get kids ready for an in-flight nap. We have two play areas (one at the Terminal 1 Departure Lounge by gate D24, and another at IFC close to gate 527) where children can make new friends, take a ride on a tube slide and catch the latest episode of Paw Patrol.

Sit back, relax and watch a movie

We found Nemo! Our movie room in T1 Domestic departures near gate D20 might be Pearson’s best-kept secret. Inside you’ll find multiple screens showing family-friendly classics 24/7. Lay back in a bean bag chair and forget about the world for a while - just don’t miss your flight!

Pre-order meals with Uber Eats

Start your trip off right: have your kids choose their favourites on Uber Eats, then pick them up hot without waiting in line. The app automatically detects when users have arrived at Pearson, and connects directly to more than 20 restaurants for the junior foodies in your life.

Take a peek behind air traffic control

The Airport Explorer’s Club is a VIP portal into everything that happens behind-the-scenes at Pearson. Ever wonder what it looks like inside the belly of a 747? Want to meet the airport’s animal friends? What’s that green goo they spray on airplane wings? Take an adventure and come find out.

Nurse your baby privately and comfortably

Pearson provides nursing pods for mothers to pump or breastfeed in private. Each pod has a folding table, two benches, a mirror, dual grab bars and a power outlet with a USB port for charging electronic devices. We have six pods throughout both terminals, and you can access them via the Mamava Pump and Nursing App.

Lego, Lego, Lego!

Good travel is about building amazing experiences. Enter the Lego store, which lives just past security in Terminal 3. Take a crack at constructing a mini Toronto skyline, or design your very own jumbo jet to join you on your trip across the skies.
