Flags at Toronto Pearson will fly at half-mast on September 8 to honour fallen firefighters

On Sunday, September 8, 2024, all Government of Canada buildings, including the Peace Tower in Ottawa, will fly the national flag at half-mast from sunrise to sunset. This is to mark Firefighters’ National Memorial Day and honour the brave firefighters who have died in the line of duty. By lowering the flag, we recognize their service and the important role they play in our communities.
