What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
Every day is different; you never know what you’ll get when you walk through the doors at Toronto Pearson. It’s an interesting and dynamic environment. Whether there are events in the terminals or work on the airfield, there’s always something going on. It’s like a small city. 

Fun Fact:
I’m an aviation professor. I started teaching eight years ago and I still enjoy training the people who will eventually work with me here at the airport.

What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
After 16 years in various aviation roles, I have been fortunate to experience many scenarios. It has provided me with opportunities to collaborate with wonderful teams in our industry. The airport is filled with a range of emotions each day –whether it’s the stress of travelling, the joy of reunions, or families embarking on their first vacation – each day brings new and exciting rewards and challenges, and I love being an integral part of that journey.

Fun Fact:
I like to do home renovations and find new destinations to explore.

What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
There are very few jobs or industries that can be as unpredictable and dynamic as this one. The problems we face each day are not the kind of problems that you can Google a solution for. It keeps you on your toes.

Fun Fact:
I started my career as a ramp attendant, waving glowing wands at inbound aircraft.

What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
Each day presents a unique combination of challenges and how we tackle them can have nationwide impacts. It is a huge responsibility, and one I don’t take lightly, but it is also a privilege. We have been entrusted with protecting the passenger experience and it is truly an honour.

Fun Fact:
I love exploring Peru and our beautiful country, Canada.

What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
I have the privilege of being one of seven individuals entrusted with making daily operational decisions at the busiest airport in the country. It is a truly humbling and extremely rewarding experience. I know that families choose our airport to begin their vacations and business travellers rely on us to make it to critical meetings in the city and it makes the work even more fulfilling. No two days are ever the same. We may face the same challenges, but the steps we take navigating through those challenges are different each time.

Fun Fact:
I started my career as a part-time seasonal ramp attendant with Canadian Airlines. Thirty years later, I am a senior leader in the aviation industry and loving every minute of it!

What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
As an Airport Duty Manager, when I walk into the airport, I can sense the excitement in the air, and I feel like I’m ready to make a difference. Whether it’s a small decision or a big one, I always keep the travellers’ best interests in mind. Supporting the awesome colleagues we work with is the key to our success.
Every day comes with new challenges, like coordinating with different teams/stakeholders, solving issues out of the public’s eye, and making sure safety and security protocols are followed. I love being in the middle of the action, keeping things running smoothly, and making travellers’ experiences better. Working with diverse teams and thinking on my feet makes my job fulfilling and exciting.

Fun Fact:
I’m a Toronto FC and Men and Women’s Canadian Soccer Supporter

What Do You Love Most About Your Role:
One of my favourite parts about being an ADM is having an influence on daily operations to ensure YYZ continues to be a leading airport in Canada and the world.  I also enjoy leading a team of highly talented and knowledgeable people who make Toronto Pearson the best in class.

Fun Fact:
I’m professor teaching future leaders in all facets of the aviation industry. Mentoring and making an impact on future leaders in the aviation industry is extremely important to me.
