Toronto Pearson will be conducting an exercise on Saturday, June 8, 2024, overnight to Sunday June 9, 2024, as part of required regulations to organize a full-scale exercise relating to a security event (Canadian Aviation Security Regulations (CASR 2012), Section 208). This full-scale security exercise is to challenge Toronto Pearson employees and external stakeholders to respond in a simulated act of bomb activation; to prepare individuals and agencies for an actual event, improve performance, test plans and procedures, and identify shortfalls and gaps.
